Master Class: Studio Lighting Basics

Service Description

This course is for beginners and advanced hobbyists. The focus of this class is to understand how to use lighting to create contrast and attention to your subject. This course will cover basic lighting including direction, inverse square law, hard and soft lighting, broad and short lighting, color values, filters, flags, and exposure considerations. You will be practicing the techniques taught with models and or mannequins during the laboratory period. An interchangeable lens camera with a prime or zoom lens is required to participate.
